Handheld computers are small mobile devices that provide the opportunity to perform more complex functions than a barcode scanner. Handheld computers are primarily used for data collection. Select a handheld computer based on both its capabilities and design. Most handheld computers are equipped with either a barcode scanner or an RF unit. Likewise, units can either process data in batch or RF modes. Your company can excel in data collection throughout the supply chain with the integration of handheld technology. Real-time access is possible with powerful computers currently on the market. Advances in technology have allowed devices to become more durable and tolerant to harsh environments, yet ergonomic and easy to use at the same time. If you need fast, accurate data collection, contact PTS to find the solution that's right for you!
