Purchase DS1921 OCX ver. 2  Now!!

As an iButton™ Authorized Solutions Developer, PTS recently completed work on a developer's tool for Thermochron iButtons™. The DS1921 OCX ver. 2 is a higher-level interface for popular programming languages such as Visual Basic.

PTS specializes in using technology to streamline business operations.  Choosing which hardware to incorporate into the software application is almost as important as the program itself. Hardware selection hinges on many different variables, the least of which include time, cost and functionality.  The most important question to ask is what do you want to do?

Taking the time to define your needs will help in searching for the right product.  Keep in mind that should your company decide to perform any type of tracking function, it is best to decide what kind of technology will go behind it.  After defining these variables, finding the proper hardware is much easier and the best solution.

Before beginning any operations changes, it is key to understand where your company is and where you are headed.  PTS can help you research the best solution!

Barcodes, when used with handheld computers, save time and money anywhere inventories are maintained.

RFID Tags are used to verify correct matches regardless of proximity to the products, manage assets and track parts from raw materials to finished goods.

iButton™ technology records up to 64K of data on an easily transportable unit that withstands harsh environments, time/date stamps readings and is reusable.

Scanners are generally used to read barcode images and help ensure accurate inventory, production, shipping and receiving counts.

Handheld computers move beyond simple counting functions and allow the user to input and access data directly to and from the workstation without manually typing in the information.

Barcode label printers do exactly that- print barcode labels!  Yet choosing the right printer hinges on variables like label size and environmental conditions.
