There are many different ways to implement security at your facility. Whether you want to control access to certain locations, monitor or detect access, or simply track different objects, PTS can help you find the right solution.

RFID Tags

RF (radio frequency) tags are commonly used as theft control devices.  By simply placing an adhesive RFID Tag on an object, you can detect its location - even through packaging materials!.  Many retailers use RF tags as a security measure.  If an RFID Tag is not deactivated by a sales associate, an alarm typically sounds when it is removed from the facility. RFID Tags are very durable and increasing in popularity as a security measure. For more information on RFID Tags, click here!

iButtons™

iButton™ Technology is another solution for implementing security.  If you wish to track activity in your facility, for example, locations can be equipped with TouchAccess™ technology.  TouchAccess™, by Videx, is an access control system with many capabilities.  You can record access by employee ID, date and time or authorize entry for select individuals or select time periods.

TouchAccess™ can be integrated with other alarms, cameras, and other devices, or be used as a stand-alone security measure. Each iButton™ stores unique information, is small enough to be stored on a keychain, yet extremely durable. Download a TouchAccess™ 200 PDF or TouchAccess™ 300 PDF!

CyberLock™

CyberLock™, also developed by Videx, Inc., is another access control method.  A CyberLock™ can easily be installed in cabinets, drawers, vending machines, interior or exterior doors to monitor or control access privileges.  No setup, such as electrical wiring, is needed where a CyberLock™ is installed!

Only a CyberKey™ can be used to gain access to a CyberLock™.  CyberKeys™ can be programmed to allow access to particular locks, or programmed to allow access at specifics dates or times.  Keys can not be duplicated, but can be used for as many or as few locks as you desire.  And since a CyberLock™ is an electronic system, it cannot be picked like an old-fashioned mechanical lock!  It will also remain in the locked position if vandalized!
