Building on our in-house data collection capabilities, PTS teamed with Steiner Electric and Intermec to develop WIN-RPD, a Windows™ based route planning delivery system, to help improve the efficiency of distribution companies.  Steiner Electric, a PTS affiliate, has one of the largest regional delivery systems in the country.  The accuracy and efficiency of WIN-RPD is an integral part of their operations.

WIN-RPD can assist in your route planning

Your dispatcher or delivery manager can sit at their computer screen and virtually load all trucks using WIN-RPD.  The advanced route planning software makes scheduling of your deliveries easy. With the click of a mouse your dispatcher drags and drops orders from an electronic list of "shippable orders" onto an "electronic loading manifest" for each truck.  This allows your delivery manager to visually equalize the loads between truck routes or drivers to plan efficient, on-time deliveries.

NEW!  We've added integrated route optimization, calculation, and mapping!  Now you can find out exactly how long each truck's route will take, and even print directions and maps!

Once back at the depot, your route delivery drivers can upload the data and digital signature images to your computer database.  This makes information available to initiate billing and provides instant proof-of-delivery from any Internet browser.

WIN-RPD can save you time!

With WIN-RPD you can download your manifest into a handheld computer.  Truck loaders can quickly scan bar codes affixed to each carton to assure accuracy!

Planned loading makes unloading a snap.  Drivers can scan bar codes on cartons as they unload the order from the truck.  This ensures that all cartons are properly delivered, which ultimately reduces the unproductive time at each stop, eliminates errors and increases driver productivity.
